NQCS provides advice on importation requirements under the Department of Agriculture, Water, and the Environment’s Biosecurity legislation. A range of import commodities are subject to quarantine intervention on arrival, and we work with our customers and suppliers to ensure the documentation provided will satisfy all requirements.
NQCS reviews import permits and identifies any potential issues/changes required. This provides effective solutions before these issues become a problem.
In instances where a shipment has been subject to quarantine intervention and there has been a biosecurity concern identified, NQCS staff are proactive in solving these problems to satisfy the department’s requirements. This can mean arranging specific documentation or organising cleaning or treatment to ensure there are minimal delays and costs associated with the clearance of the goods.
